Community culture
Community Guidelines
Clear guidelines protect useful conversation, people, and their data.
1. Respect and safety
Treat others as people, not opponents. No insults, threats, intimidation, harassment, sexual advances, hate speech, or demeaning treatment based on origin, skin colour, gender, identity, religion, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
2. Privacy first
Do not publish another person’s address, telephone number, private email, credentials, health data, location, or confidential messages. Share your own sensitive information only where necessary. Doxxing and attempts to identify people will normally lead to immediate suspension.
3. Protection of minors
Sexual or exploitative content involving minors, grooming, dangerous contact attempts, and collection of minors’ personal information are strictly prohibited. Suspected cases receive priority review and are referred to competent authorities where legally required. The initial Community phase is intended for adults aged 18 or over.
4. Law and third-party rights
Post only material you are allowed to share. Illegal content, copyright copies, trade mark misuse, defamation, fraud, malware, circumvention instructions, and calls for violence or crime are prohibited.
5. No spam or manipulation
No bulk advertising, affiliate floods, repeated posts, artificial engagement, multiple voting accounts, bots, or paid reviews. Relevant projects of your own may be mentioned transparently when they genuinely answer the discussion.
6. Make contributions useful
Use a clear title, explain the goal and context, mention what you already tried, and stay on topic. Label assumptions, concepts, and AI-generated material where omission could create a false impression. Correct demonstrably false information visibly.
7. Reactions and votes
A like recognises a contribution; “helpful” rates practical usefulness. “Not helpful” is not a punishment and must not be used for personal attacks. Coordinated downvoting or retaliatory voting is prohibited.
8. Report, do not escalate
Use “Report” for potential rule violations or illegal content. Identify the exact content and reason. Do not weaponise reports to suppress opinions. In immediate danger, contact police or emergency services — not only the Community.
9. Do not imitate professional advice
Health, legal, financial, and security questions can have serious consequences. Label personal experience and refer people to qualified professionals where appropriate. iFocus Plus and Community posts are not emergency, diagnosis, or professional advisory services.
10. Possible action
Depending on severity and history, action may include guidance, a correction request, labelling, moving, reach limits, removal, a temporary posting limit, or account suspension. Serious threats, doxxing, exploitation, fraud, or repeated evasion may result in immediate removal and suspension. Decisions are normally explained and review can be requested.
